Photography Since 2006

I've been photographing the outdoors for nearly two decades. My photo philosophy is simple; show places as they actually are. No heavy filters, no misleading compositions and no Instagram lies. A photo should be useful to the next viewer. It should tell them what the light was like, what the moment felt like, and hopefully nudge them toward respect for the place and its residents.

Building Things

I created ShotWith.app because I wanted a clean way to share camera and lens data with photographers. I built LifeCircleTool.com because this small tool has guided me into the life I love. I hope even just one other person can use it.

I'm based in Florida and love exploring Utah and the Southwest: Cathedral Valley, Escalante, Canyonlands, anywhere outdoors. If you have a project, a question about photography, or you just want to talk about wild adventures, I'm here for it!
